Accounts & Access
Who can create an account on the platform?
Both individual contractors and companies can sign up. If you use a personal email (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, etc.), you'll be registered as a Private Contractor. If you sign up with a verified business domain (e.g., @yourcompany.com), you’ll be registered under a Business Account.
What's the difference between a Private Contractor and a Business Account?
- Private Contractor: Ideal for freelancers and solo developers. You operate independently and represent only yourself.
- Business Account: Designed for companies or agencies. Multiple employees using the same domain will be linked under one company profile.
Can multiple employees from the same business sign up?
Yes. Users with the same business email domain are automatically grouped under the same company profile to ensure proper organization.
Do I need to use my real name or a username?
Every account is assigned a unique internal username mapped to your full name. This ensures clarity within your organization and avoids confusion with users of the same name.
Posting Projects (For Buyers)
How do I post a software project?
Once registered, you can list a project by filling out a form with details such as required technology, scope, budget, deadlines, and urgency.
Can I edit or extend the bid deadline for a project?
Yes. You can extend the bidding period at any time if you want more proposals or need additional time for evaluation.
Who can see the bids on my project?
Only your company (i.e., users from the same domain) can view bids submitted on your project. Bids are private to protect confidentiality.
How do I finalize and award a project?
Once you’ve selected a suitable bid, you can upload or request a contract using our integrated DocuSign feature and initiate the agreement directly with the chosen bidder.
Bidding on Projects (For Sellers)
How do I find and bid on projects?
After signing up, you can browse open projects using filters like tech stack, deadline, and urgency. Click on a project to view details and submit your proposal directly.
Are my bids visible to other users?
No. Bids are only visible to the buyer who posted the project and internal users within your own company.
Can I see which colleague submitted a bid from our company?
Yes. While external buyers only see your company name, users within your company can view who submitted each bid.
Payments & Fees
Is it really free to use the platform?
Yes. There are no subscription fees or upfront costs. We only take a small percentage fee when a project is awarded and a deal is finalized.
How is the fee collected?
When a project is awarded and the transaction is completed, a small percentage is automatically deducted as a platform service fee. You’ll see a breakdown of this during the award and payment steps.
Do I receive an invoice for the transaction?
Yes. Both buyers and sellers will receive an invoice detailing the total amount, platform fee, and net payment.
Search & Discovery
How can I find projects that fit my skills or services?
Use advanced filters like software language, project duration, industry, or urgency. Urgent projects are prioritized and appear higher in search results.
Can I save or track projects I’m interested in?
Yes. You can bookmark projects or view your bid history and status from your personal dashboard.
Feedback & Support
How do I provide feedback or suggest a feature?
Use the “Feedback” tab in your dashboard to submit suggestions or report issues. We actively review all feedback to improve the platform.
